ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This mural was a collaboration between two prolific and incredibly talented artists, Heesco and Jason Lee.
The Rainbow Serpent is one of the most significant and dominant figures in Australian Indigenous Dreamtime mythology. Often depicted as a colorful snake, the Rainbow Serpent is believed to have created the landscape, rivers, billabongs and mountains through it's movement. The Rainbow Serpent is a spiritual entity that represents the unity of all life and the importance of living in harmony and connection with nature. Stories about the Rainbow Serpent are passed down from generation to generation, emphasising the importance of respect for nature and the need for balance and care in the environment.
