Tangi Street Artists

The Tangi Street Art Festival, born from a shared passion for street art and a desire to foster a vibrant artistic community, made its spectacular debut in 2023 with its first edition. Founded by a group of artists from Bali, Indonesia, this innovative movement captured the essence of Bali's thriving street art scene, uniting local and international artists to transform urban spaces into captivating works of art. For Darwin X Bali Neighborhood Collaboration on DSAF 2024 edition, Tangi will present three promising Bali artists: Pansaka, Dwymabim, and Zolalongor.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This mural is the result of a new cultural exchange program by DSAF. In 2024 DSAF invited three artists from the Tangi Street Art Festival in Bali to come and take part in our festival. Their mural is a spectacular combination of the individual styles of all three artists and showcases various icons from Balinese culture and the Northern Territory.

The artwork theme by artists Pansaka, Dwymabim, and Zola (Tangi Artists) for Darwin x Bali neighborhood collaboration is "real connection" responding to Tangi Street Art Festival's theme 2024 in Bali, trying to bridge the connection between Balinese culture and pattern with Darwin's community in the city and suburbs.
