THE ARTIST

Originally from Sydney, Phibs' artwork style developed in the underground graffiti scene. When he moved to Melbourne he hooked up with the Everfresh crew and started playing with different subject matter  and style, becoming a prominent figure in the street art scene.

 

THE ARTWORK

This artwork, through an abstract style, is inspired by the natural elements of the diverse flora and fauna found in the NorthernTerritory. The natural world is a common theme found throughout his work. The colour pallet is informed by the famous sun sets in Darwin as well as the red earth found further inland.
