Ellyane Wall is an artist in the most eclectic sense of the word. From spinning yarn to spray paint, there’s few mediums she hasn’t tried her hand at.
Returning to her hometown of Darwin in her early 20s has seen her reconnect with childhood passions for painting, the natural world, and folklore. It also introduced her to the street art scene via the local initiative Babes Paint, of which she has become a regular. Though her subject matter varies, her keen eye for detail and love of colour are consistent throughout her work and make for bright, punchy pieces brimming with personality.
This is her first year officially participating in DSAF, which will see her explore the small wonders of the tropical biosphere on a larger scale than ever before.
