If you're heading along to the Top End's most epic music festival make sure to check out our pop-up wall.

Artists KBAR and Tropgoblin will be painting at BASS. Stop by, say hello and watch these incredible artists at work.

Off Cuts Group Show

FREE! | 6-10pm | Qubit, 7 Harriet Place, Darwin City

DSAF is teaming up once again with Don Whyte Framing to co-host the legendary Off Cuts Exhibition. 

As always, this exhibition will be jam-packed with work from some of the NT and Darwin's most-loved artists. Don't miss out, these tiny pieces will be snapped up VERY quickly.

​

50% of all sales will go to charity.

​

​The exhibition will run from 24 May - 8 June.

​

Artists who want to take part in the exhibition can collect a canvas from Don Whyte Framing during opening hours. All are welcome to take part. Canvases are to be dropped back to the DSAF shed by 16 May.

DSAF Graffiti Writing Masterclass

FREE!

This FREE workshop will take place over two days (3 hours each day)

and will be facilitated by Newcastle's UP&UP  who's expert team will ensure an immersive experience, fostering both skill development and active participation in Darwin's street art community.

 

There are only 6 places available for this exciting opportunity and EOI's are open until 15 April.

Please note: you must be based in the Northern Territory to be eligible for this workshop.

Sugarbag x DSAF Block Party
The Sweet Honey Collective

FREE! | 6pm-12am | Corner of Spain Place and Austin Lane, Darwin City

Experience the sweet melting pot of art, inclusivity, and joy at the intersection of Street Art and Rainbow culture.

 

"The Sweet Honey Collective" is a vibrant street party co-produced by the Darwin Street Art Festival and the Sugarbag Festival, set against the backdrop of Darwin's iconic Austin Lane.

​

This unique block party is a collaborative effort that celebrates the unity of diverse arts and cultures. Designed as a sweet melting pot, the event features an incredible lineup of burlesque and drag performers, DJs, singers, and artists, inviting attendees into an unforgettable evening of live performances, art installations, and interactive experiences.

Sugarbag X DSAF Skate & Paint

FREE | 3-6pm | Leanyer Recreation Park

This inclusive LAUNCH Darwin event encourages the community to engage with street art and skating, offering a platform to have a go and get creative on Larrakia Land. 

 

"Sugar Bag X DSAF Skate & Paint" is a special edition of the regular Babes Paint jam with a skating option added! It's the perfect place to try something new and work on your skills. Get tips from Darwin Skate School or Babes Paint Darwin.

​

Skate & Paint is for LGBTQIA+ community, females, and allies of all gender expression.

This event is for ages 12+.

Artist Talk - Tangi Street Art Festival

DSAF is very excited to be welcoming members of the Tangi Street Art Festival to our 2024 festival as part of our ongoing cultural exchange program.

​

Join us for an informal artist talk with the Tangi artists. The artists will share their experiences, inspirations, and challenges in creating street art in Bali, and the story of the annual Tangi Festival, with Ika Yuliana (ID), a cultural producer and community researcher from Indonesia.

DSAF Closing Party
Tropidelica - The Lounge of Luminescence

(entry via Nuttall Plc)

From the freshly painted streets of Darwin enter the Luminescent Lounge as Femme Funkale lights up the Darwin Street Art Festival's closing party at Bustard Town.

 

For one special night only Femme Funkale brings a bioluminescent botanical dance party to celebrate the way public art lights up our daily lives.
